Passover is just around the corner! This special holiday is all about family and tradition, —but for many Jewish students, going home isn’t an option. As we do all year at Chabad, we’re dedicated to creating a homey and welcome atmosphere where every student can celebrate. Picture beautifully set tables, the aroma of delicious traditional meals, and the sounds of joyful singing as we journey through the Seder together. Whether a student has been to many Seders or is experiencing one for the first time, we strive to make it meaningful, engaging, and filled with warmth.
Because of the importance of eating handmade Shmura Matzah at the Seders, we ensure there’s plenty—both for those joining us and for anyone who may not have at home. And for those returning after the Seders, we’re hosting two delicious Kosher-for-Passover BBQs during Chol Hamoed.
Passover is one of the most expensive times of the year, yet we do not charge students for Seders or meals, ensuring that everyone feels welcome. This is only possible through the generosity of people like you. We are launching a Passover Fundraiser with the goal to raise $20,000. Your support ensures that no one is left out and that we can continue creating these beautiful moments. Please consider making a donation to help bring the warmth of Passover to the students at Columbia University.
